Registrations to AbGradCon are now closed! The information below is for reference and your convenience only. Participation in AbGradConAbGradCon is mainly aimed for graduate students and early career scientists (max 5 years after their first PhD obtained). Therefore contributed talks (not the keynote talks) are reserved for persons who fall into that category. If you are invited to give a talk and are a graduate students or early career scientists, you may be asked to prove that. Other participants are allowed to take part in the meeting on their own expense (see below for registration fees) as long as places are available. In case of limited space, those will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. IMPORTANT: If you need a visa for entering the Schengen zone (where Sweden belongs to) to attend the meeting, please send a message to the organisational committe to obtain a registration letter in good time (sometimes visa handling is tedious). Furthermore, the venue might charge cancellation fees for people registring and not attending due to refused/delayed visa applications. Abstract submissionAbstract submissions are now closed. Invited participants are presenters of contributed student and early career scientist talks (about 40) and other persons explicitly invited by the Scientific Committee (there will be funding available for a limited number of students and early career scientists presenting posters). Registration fees must be paid on site in cash or with credit card (VISA, Amex, MC) Keynote speakers will get single rooms for free. Please be aware that the number of single rooms might be imited and will be allocated on a first-come first serve basis. Deadline for registration is the 1 May 2010. Please note: Registrations can only be cancelled up to 1 May 2010. In case of later cancellations or no-show substantial cancellation fees can apply.
